Four options were analysed for feasibility and economic viability, possible hub locations were defined, and the potential was comprehensively demonstrated. The effects on the economy, society and the environment were also taken into account. The study concludes that a future with the CST Bern-Thun-Biel network extension will generate considerable added value and positive development for the canton.
