Changes to the CST Board of Directors
17. Oct. 2025
As part of the refocusing of activities and reduction in staff numbers announced in September 2025, the composition of the CST Board of Directors is also gradually being realigned. At the beginning of October 2025, Susanne Sesselmann and Peter Sutterlüti stepped down from the six-member Board of Directors. Daniel Wiener will also leave the Board of Directors at the end of the year and will accompany the transition and completion of ongoing work until then. President Marco Rosso, Hans-Peter Dreier and Stefan Nünlist will remain on the Board of Directors.
Peter Sutterlüti and Daniel Wiener have worked on the CST project for many years and have been instrumental in driving it forward, while Susanne Sesselmann has also promoted the international positioning of the project over the past two years. The fact that, after more than 15 years of project work, CST was able to provide secure proof of technical feasibility this year and to achieve an initial sectoral plan with the approval of the Federal Council is largely thanks to Peter Sutterlüti, Daniel Wiener and Susanne Sesselmann. As pioneers from the very beginning, their commitment established the CST vision and developed a concrete, feasible project to complement Switzerland’s transport infrastructure, which the country will implement sooner or later. CST would like to express its heartfelt thanks to them.
